If there's one thing I just don't understand is that we've had waterproof mascara around for years. Yet on every TV programme, soap or reality show such as Jeremy Kyle where a woman always cries at some point, they always get these great black streaks running down their faces!

Why do the make-up people not use waterproof mascara on these women? Or is it do you think deliberately done to convince the public that these women are genuinely crying?
