I don't know if I would go so far as saying that Eastenders was rivetting, but there are some questions which still puzzle me:
Why does everyone have a job within walking distance of where they live? (if only!)
Why are there only two ethnically diverse families living in the square? (have the producers ever been to the East End?)
How come women are willing to sleep with Ian Beale? ( a case for Mulder and Scully me thinks!)
Why do people still go to the cafe ("Kaff") to sit and drink stewed tea when they only live within spitting distance?
Does no one own a washing machine in Walford?
I change my opinion, yes it is rivetting but for all the wrong reasons. Long live Eastenders!
