[QUOTE=caoineadh.cu.chulainn;47047]Speaking as a long term married man , I must say I find it very difficult to even think about being unfaithful.
All couples have their problems in life , but the only way to sort out your problems , is by sitting down with a cup of tea , and talk about it. I know quite a few people who have ' played away ' , and none of them has a good ending. I think that the bottom line is , if you feel the need to cheat on your partner , then your with the WRONG partner. Don't get me wrong. Iam no saint , and a pretty girl always turns my head , but thats as far as it goes. This may sound corny , but when you go to work every day , you never know if it will be your last day. To go home to your wife / husband / partner , is one of lifes greatest things IMPO !!!

I'm a long term married man too and I'm not so sure. Lots of people "play away" and it has a good ending. But you never hear about those cases, cos they remain discreet. Also staying faithful for 20, 30 years is a big ask - and i don't mean just for men. Women get restless too. If the rest of the relationship is good, it is possible to forgive, or turn a blind eye. It happens all the time.
