oh and i always pick my own rings cos i have a habit if i dont like summat i throw a strop !!!

i picked my own engagement ring... after pretty much forcing him to propose to me on a drunken stag night lol - it didn't cost much (under £100) and i chucked it in the bin after one of many arguments lol

It doesnt matter how big the ring is, all that matters is that you are both totally commited to eachother and would do anything for the other. I think that the ring symbolizes your marraige so other people can see that you are happy in love

Well I dont really want to get married or have a family, Id rather have my career. But if, and its a big if, a guy was going to propose to me that ring better come with its own bodyguard. Anything less and I can tell you the answer right here right now lol.

my engagement ring is just an eternity ring with 11 tiny diamonds in, i said he could choose it and he likes rings like that so thats what he chose, i never thought sumat like that would happen with him so i would have been happy enough with anything considerin i was just 16 and i'd met him exactly a year to the day he proposed and had only been with him for 7 months with a break in the middle. i dont really think how amazing the ring is that matters its just supposed to be about how much you love each other.

I have rings (including a wedding ring) cos i like them, if i didn't i wouldn't wear any (including a wedding ring).
You don't tell a ring you love it and want to spend the rest of ya life with it.

We only got married for the kids sake, the rings mean nothing.

As for size!!!!! don't believe a woman when she says size don't matter.

My wedding ring ( i didn't have an engagement ring) cost less than £30 many many years ago and i still wear it to this day, it signifies alot, the sentiment is worth more than the cost itself.

The size of the ring doesn't matter to me, it's the commitment, that the ring represents that matters. That the man I love wants to spend the rest of his life with me, that out of every other woman in the world, he wants me.
I am not a superficial person, I don't need a big rock from my man, the size of the ring doesn't represent how much, or little, he loves me. The fact that he wants to marry me is enough, he doesn't need to prove his love with a huge rock.

i think the gesture is more inportant than the ring.....just knowing that someone wants to spend the rest of their life with you should mean more than the size or value of the ring....money dont buy love, luckly thats free
