Ladies: How Important Is That Ring???

I 've never had the good fortune (or bad, depending on who you ask, I guess) of asking a woman her hand in marriage.

But I've sure seen the look on women's faces upon seeing that ring for the first time, right after their boyfriends proposed.

Not all faces light up.

Some faces crack, if even only a split second. Then they quickly recover (some of them), gushing joy at the thought of marrying the guy they've been putting up with for so long.

No doubt, she's happy for getting that ring (I hope), and no doubt, she loves him, but seriously, ring size is waaayyyy more important than shoe size, am I Right? Be honest, ladies, I'm sure you've been privvy to some heckling conversations about a woman you know's "microscopic diamond". Or was it you they might'a snickering about? (ouch)

Anyway, tell me what you think, ladies, even if you've never been asked, and for you fellas who happen to be reading this, especially the ones who proposed, tell us what you think.

How important?Very important!I've had a ring I picked it.It had 3 decent sized diamonds and it was 18 carot!And to get back at him for being such a horrible rotten big nasty git!,I sold the ring hahahahahaha!
But yes the ring is important but it depends who is giving it then again ma man could give me a haribo jelly ring and i would be delighted!lol

try telling a jeweller that her finger was just wide enough to find the g spot without making your eyes water too much

my engagement ring was a one off and insured for a lot of money wat did i do with it wen i divorced him i gave it away along with my wedding ring and my eternity ring why cus they did not mean nothing more to me after wat he did to me so no they aint important to me and it only proved one thing to me he just wanted to own me and control me .

i suppose we live in a materialistic society, therefore the size of the diamond or the quality of the stone wud matter. Personally i don't think that it shud, otherwise u are together for the wrong reasons. i think ppl get to easily married and getting divorced quicker.

hmmm i been with Billy almost 27 yrs and am currently on ring number 3 as i like to update them every few yrs lol .... i aint ever getting married tho...fook that !!!
