cheating girlfriend

Ive got a question for you ladies out there. Why does a woman cheat on a partner who was totally devoted to her? Is there an element of wonderlust? I was totally devoted and committed to her for the 4 years we were together. She cheated on me in sept and dumped me in oct. Still cant imagine that she has done this, no one can understand why either? So ladies to sum up why would she do this????

Should probably be posting this on the Ask a Guy bit but...totally know where you're coming from. Recently found out the one person I ever trusted did the same thing. Only I asked him a few weeks before if he had met someone else and he lied and said no. Made me feel like crap about myself for a few months and now I know why.

I've learnt not to ask why, the answer will never be enough to make you feel better.I guess some people really don't know what they have, they always think the grass is greener. Humans are a selfish race.

That said, you will get over it. Probably doesn't feel like it right now, but you will. I think the trick is to keep reminding yourself it is their loss.

Thanks for that my friend, i would do that but she's moved away and really cant be bothered to chase around the country. She did so much stuff but when i asked her she said it was all my head. As has been pointed out to me its her loss, grass isnt always greener etc. Feel sorry for her and wouldnt want to get hurt which if she carries on the road she has probably will happen. She might realise what she let go and then tell me but it would be too late. Its already to late so. Just wondered if this is what ladies do these days, wasnt so long ago that people were honest to each other. Although she would probably say she had mentioned before that it wasnt working. Anyway thanks for posting, i appreciate the response. Thought i wouldnt get any answers.

lol ive done that before lol..gave me a great since of achievment lol...i put the prawns inside the hems of his curtains and inside of the sofa...took all the light bulbs out of the house and the loo roll...served the pig right

Thanks for that, I know its not just ladies that do it. Just that we were together for four years, we work in same place, although its a big company and i only see her when smoking breaks. We have a lot of mutual friends who she isnt talking to. or if she is then they are not telling me. She didnt do it alone, she had help and support from someone. Maybe her parents or a mutual friend. Anyway shes now ****ging various blokes from some website she has joined. like a same interest website. she left her laptop for me to borrow and when i switched it on, it automatically opned a chat box and her contact list. She was under a different name but her pic was on there. She left me crying her eyes out cos she had hurt me and 3 weeks later was posting various guys naaaked pics of her. she trashed my memory of her and any respect i had for her. She left saying she wanted to be single and had been missing out, then she's online ****ging and now meeting them to **** in real life. My question is what made her change, she is a different person now then when she left me. How does a woman change so quickly or was it preplanned and cold/calculating? will she now be laughing at me and how destroyed i am. please if there any ladies out there please do help me with this one.
