Default What's the proper way to deal with a long distance relationship?

I'm currently in a long distance relationship and I'm not sure how to proceed on it. It's only been
a month!

Total opposite to that...i had a long distance relationship for 4 years and it did work, the trouble we had was when we were together all the time lol. you need lots of patience and be prepared for frustration and tears but if you work at it, and be grateful that you have each other then you can do it, its not impossible.

well it all depends on how long it will be a long distance relationship

can you see you living together in the future?
if you cant give up
if you can keep at it and just tell each other that

Im with pete and nyg on this one, any relationship needs communication and commitment from both sides distance isnt really a factor unless u make it one.

Yup - agreed with previous posters. Most important thing to do is manage expectations and communicate. Long distance relationships can be frustrating, but extremely passionate.... after all, absence does make the heart grow fonder

I love the way when people hear the world long distance relationship they think that it on the other side of the world....

Well i am in a long distance relationship and i think what maked my relationship worked is that we are away from each other so that makes the heart grow fonder. All i can say is you have to make the most of the time you have together.... You need to communation with each other and most of all a long distance relationship need loads of trust involved.
