sooo......
i asked her out for a drink and she said she didnt know when she would be able to because of work!
i took it on the chin and as i was leaving she asked what pub i usually drink at.
i told her i dont usually drink around here cos im new.
then i walked off in bewilderment.
she has confused the hell out of me and kind of annoyed me!

i was proper expecting her to say "YESSSSSSS! LETS GO NOW!"
bah!

Shazz might be right, but if you are really serious about this, leave it a while and then ask her out again. Her response wasn't a direct NO! Go away you weirdo, so obviously she doesn't think you are totally bonkers. Even if nothing comes from it, at the end of the day you can still speak and be friendly with her - sometimes it takes people a little time to feel comfortable with another person, and remember, faint heart never won fair lady ( but be subtle about it!)

Why did you just walk off after she asked where you drink? If you don't know of any pubs you could have asked where she drinks then maybe try arrange a time when she is free. Afterall she didn't say no. Shouldn't have given up so easily!
