I think men have a natural need to be kept on their toes, i know i do. I think men:
1. think they are missing out on something,
2. fear they might not be able to do what they used to be able to; and,
3. are trained on the chase of the girl, so once you have one the girl really does need to keep them keen.

I know 3. sounds corny but I genuinely think, through my research at the pub with the lads, that we are all happy, we like to pretend we are not but generally men are like kids - they feel better when there are clear rules - but also like kids they look forward to Christmas and a new toy to play with.

I also think there is a thing about girls getting too comfy, easy not to make the effort (and that goes for guys too) jumping into PJs straight from work or grunging reduces the excitement of the hunt and i genuinely think men have an inbuilt programmming over thousands of years to enjoy the adrenaline of the hunt which might sound awful but is effectively what going out to clubs is about for guys.

Well first serious post and i guess i will get destoryed for it but just trying to be honest.
