they think the man should be taller

height shouldn't make any difference at all, its not the height of a person that is the interesting thing it is the personality and if someone is too busy focusing on height then they lose the best bit of a person and it is their own fault

If I may add a woman's perspective.... lol.... I'm not sure I would date a man shorter than me - one of the nice things about the guy being taller is the feeling of protection he offers (I don't mean from muggers etc lol....). I also like to gaze up into a man's eyes, not look down on them.... well, not unless I'd ordered him to kneel on the floor anyway

Being under 5 foot I always think a tall guy would be put off straight away. I may be small on he outside but like the tardis I am infinite inside!
