Believing in a God is a bit of a gamble as well. If you don't believe in a God, and there is one, then you're stuffed! If you do believe in God and there isn't one, you'd be disappointed. Probably best to 'believe' in a God just in case? These aren't my personal views - this has been a philosophical conundrum since the dawn of time, which may or may not have been created by a God. I guess the same can be said about UFOs....hmmmm......

i think its not so much a belief in god that i take a gamble with.
mainly, for me, its about the belief in an afterlife.

but is my idea of heaven the same as gods?
i doubt it.

my idea of a perfect afterlife would be living on earth as it is, but everyone was kind and considerate of others and everyone works together to push humanity forward! and be immortal/never age past 30 or sumthin.
it would be awesome.
id probably be bored for centuries though untill we all had the technology for personal spaceships i could race in.lol
