Second date anguish

Hi,

i have a situation which has possibly been asked the world over, but is good to have a male point of view, from someone who doesnt know me....

I met the most amazing guy 2 weeks ago, it was instant attraction and we talked, and ended up kissing all night ...nothing else happened, he took my number and then txt me 2 days later to arrange a date the following wednesday.

I fell for him big time, and was so excited to go out with him,so wednesday came and we had the best date, we were very tactile again and all the signs seemed great that he liked me a lot and we kissed a lot again...i went home and he went home...i think i could have been a little tipsy as was very nervous .

Towards the end of the date i asked him to stay out longer as i loved kissing him and he said he had to get up for work at 6am, but would get me into a cab to make sure i got home ok, and i joked that he wasnt going to walk me home...which he seemed to laugh off.....so he said he would txt me soon and we kissed and ended our night. He did also tell me he was going on vacation with his friends the week after....

That was 10 days ago now....and he hasnt txt or called ..nothing.

I txt him 3 days after just to say hey and did he get up for work ok..very casual...and still no asnwer...then i txt again 8 days after the date just saying hi how was ur week, was he on vacation yet? and nothing!!!!

Im so sad as we seemed to get on amazingly...and i cant help making excuses for him as he may be on holiday with his friends right now....and think it could be a reason he hasnt been back to me .

I wont txt him again, but am afraid i see him at my gym, and wont know how to act, as i liked him a lot............what do u think, and is it ok to not get in tocuh if hes in another country.

just wait untill you hear from him.

if you dont hear from him again..and then bump into him down the gym SMACK HIM IN THE FACE and say "YO WTF!?"

I can see how you may be confused but the best thing you can do is play it cool. If you see him again in the gym, be friendly and carefree "Hey, I guess you've been really busy (and don't say "you haven't answered my texts" - he already knows he hasn't!), would love to meet up with you to catch up on everything, how is next week looking for you?" You will know by his response how he sees the relationship panning out, and if he doesn't commit to anything, c'est la vie. Oh, and quit the kissing bit! Nothing wrong with the kissing, of course, but that sort of puts pressure on the both of you. Save the snogfeast for a few weeks down the track and concentrate on really getting to know each other through talking and going out doing fun things.

Thanks for your replies......especially the onw about smacking him in the face, if anything it made me laugh a lot this morning ...I wont contact him again and play it cool......i think possiby the fact i didnt play it cool in the first place perhaps put him off.hahaha and the kissing, yes should stop that..
