i have found that being a host you have to make your own conversation happen
as people will not always want to speak to the host
were persons too yknow
we all need love!!!!!

yer i know pete, n believe me over the last few days i've learned exactly what you do go through and it brought me to tears (literally) that people can be so cruel - all hosts and admin are trying to do is run a good site (WITH A FREE SERVICE DAMN YOU MORONS) for society and they just kick it back, i'm surprised the sites still goin the way ya's get treated....

so good work to everyone and well done tot hose few who do fully support the hosts/admin and WoC! n i do hope things change because it would be a shame to have to say any sort of goodbye to this place - it's become my internet home and the people on it have become my internet family

Yep I can certainly agree that moderating chat rooms isn't easy. It's hard work. You get abuse thrown at you left right and centre. Well I did when I first started doing that kind of thing. I got called everything under the sun. Some names I had to look up to find out what they meant lol.

Abusive users would do well to remember that Staff are humans too. They have feelings just the same as everyone else, and they arn't here to be insulted. They do this job voluntarily.

I had a read of the rules and I think they are very fair. If users then break those rules and get boot prints on their backsides, well, tough! I think staff should be armed with one of these: to bonk the gonks with.
