Be aware
Was reading a story in one of my mags about a woman who had been taken in by a guy she met in a chat room, it then graduated to emailing each other ..... he said he was English and worked in Dubai, kept emailing her and this led to them falling in love online... He arranged that he was returning to the UK and on the day emailed her to say he wasnt allowed out of the country as he owed money to the authorites, this went on for a few weeks and he scammed £20,000 out of her (she had to take bank loans etc) she only found out he was a conman from Nigeria when the police came to her door as they had other women who had made complaints !!!
Now, I know some of you will say she totally deserved it for sending cash to a stranger but I also know some of our chatters fall in love in here within 5 mins of chatting to sum1 - thats not love !!!! thats loneliness... !! Please be aware and careful as we have seen so much of it all before and it always kicks off when the person gets found out !!

Omg shazz .... thats ruddy awful but just goes to show that peeps should not pass that info out in the 1st place.
The rules are there for a reason ' just hope peeps stick to it x

Lonely
It is quite callous to claim that these poor women are silly and deserve what they get, when they become involved with someone via the internet.
Lonliness is the fastest spreading condition in the world helped in no small part by the Net. We all believe that there is a special person out there and sometimes it can cloud your judgement and these men and women are very skillfull in what they do. Before you hand out money over the internet ask yourself would you give it to someone you had met in a pub. And if the person appears to good to be true, then they are!!

i was once pretendinvg to go along with some nigerian scammers plan like 7 years ago now!
he said that after the last concorde flight that crashed over france there was some guy who had no next of kin. he said i should pretend and get a ****load of cash. anyway i led him on for a bit before getting as much info out of him as possible then i sent it all to various police email addressesesesess. i got 1 reply saying "we have neither the time or money to even try to investigate" i sent the polices response to the scammer and told him he was free to continue trying to scam people cos police dont give a ****. yet the government will change the law (digital economy act 2010) to try to stop piracy. yet again big business trumps poor little innocent individuals.

its a sad situation but for every good honest person in a chat room there are at least 5 others who will lie to you. the best thing to do is only give as much information as you would on a tax from meaning say nothing that will cost you money. be careful be sensible and remember its people on a screen its not love its nice words if your lonely join a club get out of the house but above all be careful

But the simple lesson is-if it looks too good to be true, then it probaly is. On a brighter note it is a beautiful day, so just live for the moment

Men get con too , I know a guy who send plane fare for this girl he met on line he's in the uk she in canada he even went to the airport on the day two years later not a word from her . I know what you mean about people falling in love after 5mins of chating I have seen it ..the keyboard's magical .
