Incompatiable with some browsers

Hi Admin or Mods ... did you know that your new server is incompatiable with some browsers ie.. FIREFOX... or is this intentional?

Ermmm i use firefox and never had a problem .

So do I Hunny.. or did untill the new server was introduced and my HP and Virgin adviser told me that Firefox had maybe blocked WOC for some reason?

For those of you who are computer literate this can be an easily solved prob but to many without support .... remain unable to access site.

World of Chat has not blocked firefox and who ever told you that information needs his head examined lol, as thats is very poort support !

I can get on with FireFox with no problems and I also use virgin, its more likely your firewall is blocking the site.

i have just double checked it now to make sure, what issues do you face when you try to access the site ?

I normally use Firefox as my internet browser and did access Woc via same until your server changed. When I try and log in using FF I recieve this message....

BAD REQUEST
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.

Client sent malformed Host header

Web Server at worldofchat.co.uk

I contacted my internet advisor Virgin and who used remote assistance to examine your site and imformed me that Woc and Firefox where incompatible . He accessed the site through Internet Explorer and it seemed to work? Apparently other users are having similar probs. Any ideas?

no other users have problems with firefox in fact about 40% of users use firefox on woc, so if there was a problem I wouild know about it.

There isnt any difference when accessing woc via IE or firefox, if it works on one it will work on the other, the only differnce is the software, which is on your computer !

The virgin advisor was talking complete twaddle, as there is no check you can do to see if firefox and woc are comptatable !

I would suggest you clear all ur temp files and cookies, to make sure its not a file on your pc causing this issue restart ur pc and try again.

I use firefox I have no problem as Mr Woc said clean up your pc.

Hmmm I am not quite sure wats happened now? But is seems I have to use yet another log in and server just to stay in?
