im trying to buy a recordable dvd player on eaby...there is loads but i know there is something about regions...some wont work here or something...what region should i go for...region 0 (all regions), region 1, region 2 (europe and japan) im scared i buy the wrong thing.....can someone guide me?

Depends why you want it, what you going to use it for ?

Is it just for your pc or for your TV ?

mainly im wanting to record stuff straight of my camcorder onto a disc....after that record things of tv not pc

Doesnt really matter about region thats more for your playing back of dvds, obviously region free is best but if you already for a dvd player with this then its not a worry !

You would have to do a bit of research to make sure it would work with ur camcorder as it depends what kind of camcorder you got, they are not very good for recording from Tv as a dvd doesnt hold much info, so I wouldnt get one for just that.

Whatever you do record, its pretty easy to put onto dvd so you can play it via your pc or on another dvd player.

so what should i record my stuff onto from my camcorder? thought that was ideal, want the stuff of the tapes so i can watch them on tv..is there any other options? dont know how to transfer onto my laptop so i thought that would be handy...im all confused and clueless lol
