My laptop battery is broke and how do i find the right battery if i was to order it of amazon or another pc shop

its easy
go on e bay
type in the laptop
ie compaq 600 battery
and you will get one

Stupid question maybe but why do you think you laptop battery is broken. if it is not charging there are way to fix it, or even test it out properly.

As for ebay for laptop battery's be careful as they may be cheap imports and these can explode due to irregular voltages all so some done hole the CE stamp of approval ect ect ..
