I have defragged several times. I don't know if it works, but pretty patterns come up on the screen like a lava lamp. And as for nyggggggggggggg helping you, would you buy a used inflatible from him? I don't want to have to say I told you so!

just ignore roo, she's only jealous cuz she got blown out by an inflatable Anteater at a xmas party once.......so, sultry try this: Smart Defrag - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com. Just click on the Download Now link and it should be straightforwardto use. Mine runs slow even when i've drgratmented, it might just that you have a lot of stuff on it and it takes time to recognise what u have. Hp[e this helps, and u should find this runs quicker than the microsoft one.

Basically, every time you surf the web, download, upload, etc the computer needs to find somwhere to put it. When your computer is all spankingly brand new it puts it near the memory so that when it needs it its there, straight away. Over time it places all the stuff u do further and further away, hence slowing down ur pc. Think of a ball in the middle of a room then the room being full and stuff outside the room cuz theres no room left. Getting the ball would take much longer. So the Defragmentor grabs all the far away stuff and condenses it back all together!
You've learned something today! lol |
