LA Noire
la noire is pretty much as close to an interactive movie as you can get!
you play a detective trying to solve crimes. ive been promoted from traffic to homocide! *joy*
if you have ever played phoenix wright ace attorney then you will see many similarities in how the game plays in LA Noire.
most cases ive worked so far have had the following basic structure:
information cutscene, search for clues, follow up leads usually asking people questions, more clues, more questions, chase, solve crime.
when asking questions you 3 options on how to respond, you can believe them, doubt them or claim they are lying...in which case you had better hope youve got some evidence!
the new motion capture technology for facial movement really is groundbreaking stuff and really helps you in discerning whether a suspect is lying or not.
the missions im on now are lasting me about an hour and a bit. i think theres like 23 odd cases to do?
