Blind people

Do people who have been blind since birth , dream ? And if so , what do they dream about ?. They can't dream about things we dream about , because they have no idea what things look like. If we dream we are walking through a field , we do so because we know what fields look like. So how can anyone who has never seen anything at all , possibly have dreams ??

thats like asking to do newborn babies dream, ermm yeah you dont have to see something to no its there.

Yes , but how do you know what your looking at ??. If some one told you to look out for a wrinkle snark , you would have no idea what they meant simply because you have never seen one. One you saw one , that memory will last you a lifetime. So back to my original question, if a person who has had no direct experience of anything at all , how could they dream about it.

am not blind and i dont no what it is, however i can make it up as a go a long, if ur just blind, all ur other sences are very alive and alert.

of course they dream they have experience of everything the same as any1 else the only diff is they have no visual experience. Their dreams will involve all their other senses.

I was so intrgued by this that I looked up the answer, and here it is!

Sometimes I wish I couldn't see my dreams (nightmares). But then again, only hearing my child's screams for help would be horrible also.
