i was out walking my dog "duke"
it was a hot summers day
but there was a cool breeze wafting the smell of cherry blossoms and honeysuckle over me like the soft caress of a long lost lover
she was there
outside her house
her big brown eyes gazeing wistfully towards the horizon
she looked deep in thought
what was she thinking?
something pulled me towards her a force so strong that i couldnt resist it no matter how hard i tried
and within a heartbeat there we were....beside each other
she lazily turned her head towards me and kept it there transfixed as if a rabbit caught in the headlights of a speeding car
she got up and stretched
the sunlight seemed to dance off the curves of her womanly body
i struggled to find the words at first
but shock had taken them from my mouth
but regaining compusure i said...
"ffs duke its a jack russell you aint got a paper cats chance in hell pal"
