My wife died 7 months ago.......why is it people now treat me like a leper.Life already suks,when your alone ,all you see is silence......

Awe sorry to hear that jimmy , i think people don't mean to make you feel like a leper
they are just unsure what to say.
I can only imagine the pain of losing someone you deeply love its must be awful my heart goes out to you.

It's a no win situation for your friends and neighbours.
The full truth is that people don't know how you will react to whatever they say.
YOU need to make it plain to them that you have been in a dark place but that you are now trying to come out into the light again.

Sorry to hear ur a bit down Jimmy. When someone dies the first year is always the hardest as it is all full of 1sts. the 1st birthday, 1st Christmas etc, it does get easier although you will never forget them. People although kind dont really know what to say as they are scared of upsetting you.

I think about my mum and dad a lot and occasionally talk about them to my partner...it's definately hard for ppl who have lost loved ones at this time of year...chin up babes and dont think they are treating u like a leper they just dont want to upset or hurt you xx
