What a fecking nightmare.
'Er indoors is from a very rough area in Motherwell. She's not soft and neither are her sisters and brothers. They grew up hardcore, is what I'm saying, but yesterday was the day a killer punch was delivered. Aggie's sister had/had 3 daughters who all went off the rails with drugs and drink. The first daughter died about 12 years ago followed 6 years later by the youngest. Both were listed with medical mumbo-jumbo but it all boiled down to being drugs related. The third sister, the oldest one, had a falling out with the mother long before the first daughter died and moved to the next town. She never visited the mother's house after that and the mother was only asked to visit when something was needed. Money for rent arrears, furniture etc. This daughter is more into Cider than drugs but she's a total alkie. She has a man friend who comes round so they can get nissed as a pewt together but, according to what the mother was told by the daughter on a rare meet that's all he is. Anyway, the mother found out yesterday that the daughter had been in hospital for nearly a week and had died over 36 hours before this was being told to the mum. The guy who was the drinking partner and nothing else, it turns out, has been living there as husband and wife for at least 10 years. The fecker had given HIS name as next of kin at the hospital in the hope that he would get the house made over to him. He is such a rectum that he never even thought to ring the mother to let her know what was going on but his plans have come unstuck big style. Believe it or not, one of Aggie's Bingo Buddies is the owner of a company that rents out property and guess who lives in one of her houses? Yep, got it in one. The really bad bit is that the mother can't get any info at all out of the hospital because this twonk is down as next of kin and according to the Jobsworth on the desk, there's nothing that can be done. Now, only read the next bit if you want to be really freaked out. The youngest daughter died on the 11th of January, the middle daughter died on the 12th of January and the oldest died on the 13th of January. Different years, obviously but is that spooky or what? Aggie went over as soon as she found out to look after her older sister who, she says, is just sitting in a chair looking at the photos of her three daughters on the table. You shouldn't ever need to bury your own child, not to mention all three of them. |

Hi Shazz,
I didn't explain that very well. I was a bit angry about a few aspects of it all and forgot to mention a few things. First off, Aggie's dad brought the family down from Motherwell, the Decamont Ave area (don't know if I spelled that right) back in the late 60's to get work in a factory in Burnley called Burco Dean. I've no doubt that it will all be sorted out and I think the main issue was one of timing. Nobody was available at the hospital where she died because it was the weekend(??) and it was the waiting for Monday morning that was making it all feel even worse. In all honesty, it won't have been helped by the mother going off on one and reverting back to her "Hairy" accent. |

shes entitled to go back to her native "hairy" accent given whats happened to her.... i hope it gets resolved soon and she gets to know the full facts of what happened x
