As most of you know I have been on a diet for a month and lost a stone....
I am now at the stage where I have to start exercising and need to find some form of it that i like !!! grrrr I aint into gyms, hate swimming, i dont do bike rides, i am too old for rollerblading now cos it hurts when i fall, i dont do running cos it's borin, and when i try zumba although its fun it really freaks me out cos my legs dont co-ordinate with my wiggly hips and arms grrrr.... anything you can think of that i may find fun wuld be appreciated .... IT HAS TO BE FUN THO !!!! Shaz x
I'm a bit of a health & fitness freak ! , my exercise regime is routine & the results are my main motivation ....... you can't always expect to enjoy what we do to benefit our own bodies & general health until you reap the reward of the outcome, let's face it, if it was easy & ever so enjoyable to lose weight & maintain ideal fitness, then there would be far less people in the world seeking an easy fix. It takes will power & determination on all these accounts, but eventually you find that this has all been worthwhile & you may even find that you eventually enjoy just a plain & simple workout that you can do in your own home ........ it is well known that a good physical workout stimulates the production of endorphins in the brain which naturally improve mood. I've had that 'can't be bothered' feeling often in the past, followed by the glad that I did feeling after woulds. May I recommend stretching & general flexibility exercises first thing in the morning followed by some muscular tone workout, eg. ...... sit ups, squats, press ups on tip toes, cycling etc ........ I hope I've not put you off ! lol L xxx |
