chat room

What do you do when you go in to a chat room and you say hello to whoever is in there and nobody will even give you the time of day i've been registered since the 17th this month this year i have never used a chat room in my life before i joined here i obviously dont know anyone but to just be ignored its pathetic. Has anyone eles ever had this problem?

I suggest that you start by going into the newbies room to 'cut your teeth' so to speak. You'll usually get a hello in there, and sometimes a full blown discussion! Keep trying, and be persistent. A 'hello' from you, followed up from something like 'where is everyone from?' usually gets a response.

Sorry to hear that ARWM , you obvious chose a time of day or evening when some chatters was not speaking , its usually a very friendly site and will look out for you when i'm in the rooms hun.

Thank you queen swords and roobaby for you coments if i go back
into the chat rooms i will have to loosen up a bit the problem for
me is i get nervous when i get in there and freeze up because
i dont want to but in to someone elses conversation i see it as
impolite. Either way thanks to both of you.

Happen when I join two weeks not a word from anyone .. then one day I opened my mouth & said hi never looked back it works both ways .. I'll keep an eye out for you I'm a chatterbox lol .. welcome to woc !!!

I never had this problem... but I stuck to newbies like glue for a long long time. And I don't mind 'butting' in to peoples conversations, it's a chat room, they have private chat if they wish
