racist jokes

i make a real effort in my life to be as good as i can be.
i always admit my own mistakes (contradicting my other post)
i dont gossip and tell workmates i dont want to hear it
i like to think id step in to help someone where others wouldn't.
but now i feel guilty over laughing at racist jokes at work!

ive been at my job for 1 year now and my workmate gets about a billion jokes texted to him a day.
over half are racist.
he's an ignorant racist guy and he takes pride in that fact, as far as i can tell.
its just me and him in the workshop so i cant really tell him to **** off or avoid him.
but the thing is as annoyed with the racism of the jokes as i am i cant help but laugh at them cos some are genuinely funny!
i know i could get all serious with him and tell him in no uncertain terms i dont want to hear any racist jokes but i dont know it doesnt seem worth it.

maybe il buy a joke book and remember a few each day and tell them to him after his racist jokes to show him his jokes are a bit ****.

anyway how about a few racist jokes eh?: nah they are all mostly about injuring/killing paki's (those ones come from his mate in the EDL) and why do blacks smell? so blind people can hate them too.
thats the level they're at.

Id just say to your workmate that he needs to be careful as he dont know who's listening . And i would be honest with him and tell him what you think ..

Well what can you do?
You can ignore it, tell him straight you know like stop it you racist twat, erm laugh along like its all funny or you could lodge an official complaint against hi9m for racist comments the choice is yours.
