after watching it and a few extra beers im still incensed
he seems to think as long as it benefits our economy were all ok. urghhhhhhh. the economy only seems to take the rich into acount. say our country consisted of 100 people. 50 people were well off and the other 50 were ok = the economy is doing well. or 30 people were really well off and the other 70 were able to survive = the economy would still be doing well. or to take it to the extreme 10 people were filthy rich and the other 90 were begging for scraps of food = economy still doing well. i could put some numbers in instead of just vague descriptions but the outcome would be the same. just because the economy is doing well doesn't mean people are happy. lol you must pledge your allegiance to the all knowing economy and follow it blindly! seems to me the thing to do nowadays. look after you and yours and **** the rest. that view is disgusting in my eyes. WTF is happening? can anyone reading this see my point? i might sound a bit fanatical about this by now but its really starting to piss me off. |

Tommy, tommy, tommy. You could always become a bhuddist monk. I have to applaud you for your enthusiasm though, and I think that the point underpinning your argument is that most people in the western world are apathetic, apart from the French. They do great riots and revolutions. Victoria Woods said the only reason there would be a riot in Britain is if the gvt banned caravans from motorways.

part 2 goes into more depth about our high end business.
he mentions the unskilled but not what to do with them. an informative show thats quite interesting and infuriating for me. part 3 promises to show me what ive been screaming for..... where's the unskilled workers place in (british) society? from the preview it seems that place is a call centre. i have to agree with you roobaby the french do seemingly riot about anything. ive thought a few times about what it would take us. caravans!? lol. no. *petrol? *not getting paid i dunno. most riots are too small a scale or focus on one thing that doesn't have a broad enough appeal to be sustained for long enough to achieve any change. you also need a common enemy (?) my brain would call me nasty names if i gave up and became a buddhist monk. they r quite selfish when you think about! (from my pre-conceived ideas of buddhist monks) |
