A couple of questions for Tommy (out of idle curiousity more than anything)
Why is starting work at 9 am awesome? Have you considered riding a bicycle instead of a motorbike to work? Is 'feeling' tired and 'being' tired different states? |

Ashley, he might ride a bicycle because it is cheaper, less carbon footprint and it's good exercise. The good exercise part might get Tommy's sleep patterns back on track. Even more controversial - walk to work! It's only 3 miles ( 6 miles return)

9am is an awesome time to start work cos in previous jobs ive started at 4am,6am,6:30am,7am and 8am (1pm and 2pm starts were ok) and im home by 10past 5!
i have considered cycling...might start in spring...but then id have to get up earlier BOOOO walking!? no chance feeling and being tired may well be 2 different states! being tired is a physical thing, feeling tired is just an excuse to be lazy. hmmmmm. i find it easy to break through the tired barrier and feel awake again. years of watching random movies on channel 4 untill 5am has allowed me to attain a zen like state which creates a forcefield around me which is Impenetrable by my nemesis the sandman. but yeah ive stopped exercising since moving into this flat as i still havent had a shower fitted. gettin hot and sweaty and jumping in the bath is rubbish. so thats probably a factor |
