Arrow Scottish slang

In our project we have a crusty old Scottish teacher.
You are his somewhat reluctant 18 year old student - of unknown gender.

He calls you "Mucky" as a nickname.

Does that make sense? Is it obscene?
Is there a better name?

Question Help me out please, Shazzababe

We are making a videogame where you learn algebra while you play golf.
Your mentor (slash caddy) is a short-tempered Scottish robot.

Right now he addresses you, the Player as "Muckie"

example:

This hole is one of my personal favorites, Muckie!
You play with parabolas -

Can you suggest a better name to call the Player?
The Player can be boy or girl but late teenager or young *****.
(and seen as an Xbox 360 Avatar)

Any ideas, Shazz??

Anyone?

Muckie is the name given to the reported mysterious creature said to inhabit the Lakes of Killarney in Ireland.

maybe muckie is what scots used to call each other as they all got Mc or Mac in their names.

or maybe your golf shots are not very accurate and your caddy deems it mucky swinging.
maybe because your bringing up big clumps of dirt with every swing.

i dunno.

Hey tommysize,

i think u mean the word mucka !!! a mucka is a pal or friend

"allright mucka hows it going " = alright pal how are you ?

us scots usually just call ppl "pal" even if we dont know them......

e.g. - thanks pal
e.g. - ur a pal thanx

Default Great!!`

Shazz,

Thanks.. this is a huge help.

So we can change the lines for "Duncan the Caddie" in our script from Muckie to Mucka and it will make sense?

Better than changing it from Mucky to Duffy, for example.

Duncan says things like; "That's a fair shot you made, Mucka"
