Default Freedom of expression

I have always had an interest in the various youth movements in the UK since the 60's, I'm showing my age here. We have had the Teddy Boys, Mods and Rockers, Skinheads, Hells Angels, Punks and following on from them the Goths. Traditional Goths tend to have an interest in Gothic architecture, an interest in the supernatural and dark aesthetics. I think Goth girls look rather pretty in their Gothic make up, dress style and boots. Youth culture is always changing with new kinds developing all the time, examples of this are ***** Industrial Goths and Emos. Freedom of expression plays an important part in our society, and as long as it causes no harm it has to be a good thing, oh yes it's nice to be different. So are you different from the mainstream in society, and if so why?

Ok so freedom of expression is also about thinking differently from mainstream thinking, out of the box thinking I think. That's like me really, I always like to think in a different way, and from this I see the world as it really is. I was once a fairly normal average guy who fitted in with a fairly normal average lifestyle, though after discovering how to meditate that all changed. My advice is don't learn to meditate, unless you want a life changing experience

Ok BUT..... Goths are still exercising their freedom of expression even though they are conforming to a non conformist look, are they not. Your freedom of expression, is your freedom to freely be what you want to be, without being part of a group, which is just fine of course. I think that makes you a member of the freedom of expression group

Yes you are right of course, and Goths express their freedom of expression by the way they look, the music they listen to, and the way they think. I think that just about sums it all up as freedom of expression.
The ultimate Goth girl experience for me would be, going for a walk in the dark together during a thunderstorm, very romantic don't you think

No suicide pacts, no steamy..... just good old fashioned romance, gazing into each other eyes and holding hands. I have yet to do the thunderstorm walk in the dark, anyone interested ?
