Default zuckerberg - facebook

Zuckerberg - billion dollar mistakeBOOK 19.5.12

its down on paper,
a real treat and goody,
where's the press,
move that young man holding the hoody.
everyone is going to purchase,
the stock market is thriving,
i am currently doing this poem,
but not meant to be doing facebook while driving.
yes its addictive,
i share with the world things that are confidential,
this is going to bring life to millions,
the interest in being my friend shows my potential.
safer at home in-front of a screen,
no young people have to go out to integrate,
you can have thousands of conversations,
in a 4 wall room you can now communicate.
is this going to work "Zuckerberg",
we will all for ever "facebook" seek,
i predict there will be a mass u-turn,
you will be the worlds most hated geek.

( i think after a few years of young people wasting there life's thinking they have done everything by reading what people get up - i do think this facebook will crash and be useless to people. i have never seen the attraction on talking online in a room and i always go out to meet my friends and bore them by reading them poems lol. i really do feel sorry for the people that use this facebook and the other one twitter and all social networking - as people need to go out and live and do things. but do you think i am wrong ?)

Never before in the annals of human history have you been able to have lots of friends, and never have to meet them in person. That might be a good thing really, because try holding a coversation with all of them at once in a pub. I think facebook will continue to thrive well into the future, because they have a captive audience of users who are family and friends, who couldn't imagine life without a PC or Iphone. You don't have to stay isolated at home on a PC to use Facebook of course, you can wander around with your Iphone instead, keeping everyone up to date. I think technology has changed our lives forever, there's no going back now, social networking is the future. One last point, family members tend these days to be well displaced geographically compared to about 40 years ago, so Facebook is a good way to stay in touch with each other.

thats very sad that you think like that - good old face to face will come back in fashion - the reason being - how ever many of us do it - the majority of the world dose not and thats what count.

Put it this way then, you can still have a face to face chat with your friends at the local pub, or anywhere else for that matter if you want to. However many people live busy working lives, which means they possibly get home late in the evening after fighting through the traffic. So what better way to do a bit of so******ing after a hard days work, than at home on the PC using Facebook or any of the others for that matter including Skype. You can talk to the Mrs if you want some face to face chat, but she's probably watching the TV and doesn't want disturbing. Posting is another form of so******ing, try talking to the Mrs about some of the threads on here, and see the reaction. Regarding the rest of the world not using social networking, it's only a matter of time before they go the same way, civilisation is continually evolving towards a technological future. The 21st century is going to bring some big changes for all of us, looking beyond that who knows what could happen.

day 2 and 11% down - Tweet that on your Disgracebook 22.5.12

never did i believe,
so fall would be so brutal,
if i done social media,
my last poem and this, would not be fruit-fall.
well done for "Awakening",
but this is no "Robert De Niro",
because we need to rid all twins,
i will name and shame "twitter" as Danny De Vito".
its day 2,
11% down is Zuckerberg account,
confidence is dropping,
interest is starting to dismount.
am i responsible,
i don't think my poems have any power,
so sorry if i humiliated,
but dropping this nonsense will ensure you flower.
go out everyone,
join a club and interact,
you can not live at the screen,
its a sad and boring fact.
congratulations "Zuckerberg",
on the "news" i saw your marriage,
but i am so sorry for your loss,
"Facebook" is your "baby" and its going to miscarriage.

(this is just my personal op-ion and i think people have finally cottoned onto to just how boring this idea was and to make friends its much better to go out and meet people then sitting infron of a pc with 5 million friends you have never met - but what do you think ? can facebook ever become popular again ?)

The real problem here as I see it, and it's not just to do with Facebook, is mobile phone addiction. You see it all the time, young people walking around clutching their mobile phones, not wanting to be without them. This is a new phenomenon, not something that was around back in the 70's, we used the old landline phone for chatting to our friends then. There was no texting either, we had to talk to each other on the phone, which is what your thread is all about isn't it. So yes there are real problems arising from this new technology that's for sure, we need to be aware that we musn't let the machines take over from our brains. Once that happens, you put yourself at the mercy of machines, be that at your peril. We can live with this technology, but we must use it wisely...... you have been warned!!

Yes that is true, but...... it has to be used wisely, which unfortunately some young people are not. I saw a news article today on this very subject, a psychologist was warning of the effects that this technology is having on young people, so if that's coming from a psychologist there must be a problem here. I am not saying that all young people are having a problem with this technology, but some do and it takes over their lives, in effect it becomes a bigger part of them, which proves how seductive this technology is. I don't have a problem here, because I made a career from electronic engineering, and I know how addictive it can be, once you become involved in it. A job is one thing, but living ones life sucked up in it all is rather scary, because you can't see the effect it is having on you.
