STI's on 8% increase - will it ever go down ?

8% rise in STI's 31.05.12

its rampant and rife,
a hard hitting reality,
it wont discriminate,
you will be considered what ever your ***uality.
why the increase,
is it education,
or are we suppressed,
and this is a result of frustration.
could it be about naivety,
are the young responsible,
but the golden oldies are hit,
its not very honourable.
the numbers will only rise,
STI's are like my poems and contagious,
i am looking to hook up,
poem reply on this message board and lets be outrageous.

this was on the news this morning - i just wondered will it ever go down ? i personally dont think it will - but what do you think ?

Will STI infection rates ever come down, well yes they probably will, when an effective way is developed for eradicating STI's. Until then though, practice health and safety and don't take risks, it's not really that much of a problem is it.
