How do you get your child to stop being a brat ?

oh dear...erm press rewind if possible and start over lol....maybe u have let her away with to much in the past and maybe ur to soft with her...i dont know cause i dont have any kids but i do know that discipline equals respect....good luck lazy...

i think maybe u need to start be a lil tougher with her

when she is naughty make sure she knows she has been naughty ,,, take away her toys for a few hours of something ,,,

if u dont it will get worse

stick her on the naughty step if she misbehaves and dont let her move, till she apologises
or send to bed i do with my 6 yr old( but luckily thats rare) she knows not to step outa line or thats what will happen x

Bed is not a punishment. I think bed is a place you should go to rest not a place you go to be punished. Naughty step all the way.

i think taking away something they enjoy for a while .. like toys !!

Vinnie even has a naughty chair, we don't do steps cause hes a nutta and climbs or rips wall paper, but i sit him on a chair wait till he calms down then he has 2 mins time out. its working lazy but its hard going as it takes about 30 mins to calm down hot temper little spud he is.
