Confused and not sure what to do?

Not sure what to do...known this guy for 7 or so years, good friends at one point until then it developed into a bit more and began seeing each other...however i messed him around alot and he obv had enough and we went out seperate ways.

For the last year or so we been talking casually again and I really have started to like him that way but he blows hot and cold all the time but have met up once or twice. I went on holiday and he borrowed my new car for the week and he bought it back all clean and valeted etc....I began to think we were getting on again but then found out he had a gf and told me he was not interested so i backed off. HE

For the last 3 months I have been fighting with him to get my spare key back and he makes excuses constantly and i have to text him non stop to try and get it back from him. I left it over xmas and saw him out and he text me saying i had a cd for you and where u gone. I told him I went home and that I made it clear I liked him but he had a gf so whats the point....he then went quiet on me. I since told him to just post my spare key after getting angry and that was that. Heard nothing. Text him today asking where is it and he said I will post it whats ur address....sent him my address and then he texts back saying...actually i know where u live so i will just post it thru ur ltrbox its not like i dont know where ur house is.....thats it then went quiet ?? I just dont know where to go from here cos I have no faith he will post it thru...do i text him again?? HELP

if ya can forget him an change ya locks he aint worth it thats wat id do but its your decision ok hope this helps

Why don't you go to his house and get the key from him? Doni't give him any advance warning, just turn up! That way he doesn't have an excuse for not being at home. You probably should take someone with you so that it all remains very civil. If you still don't get the key back you may have to change the locks on your car because if your car gets stolen and your insurance finds out someone had a spare key they might not pay out. (I had to change the locks on my car when I lost the spare key) In terms of a relationship/friendship, it a sounds like a non starter, so don't waste head space in trying to figure out why? what if? Get the key and get him out of your life.
