new book idea

ok so i had an iddea for a book but i was curious as to if anyone would read it first cause it really is a new idea that hasnt been tested and published yet. my idea was a romance novel from a dudes point of view. here is a sample of what i have so far

Chapter One
Into the fray


Wake up! Your late for school.” That’s what I hear almost every day from my mother. I know that it’s never true but I fall for it every time. It’s my mother’s sick way of trying to get me to hurry up in the morning before she leaves for work. I need to make a mental note to stop falling for it, but I keep forgetting. Now that I’m awake I guess I will get ready for the day and take my sweet time about it cause it’s a Saturday and my only plan is going to the movies with my current girlfriend Harley.

“Briar I said wake up!’ “I’m up! Jeez no need to make me deaf.” The reason I say Harley is my current girlfriend is that I am currently experimenting with girlfriends. She is my sixth one in about as many weeks. “Well now that your up there is someone here to see you. I think you will be surprised at who it is but I could be wrong.” That statement has just peaked my curiosity. I usually never have anybody come to my house to see me. I quickly put on a clean shirt and some jeans and rush downstairs to meet the surprise visitor.

“Hello Briar. My name is Colonel Toughguy.” At that statement I almost break out laughing but then I see that he’s serious so I quickly shut up. “ I used to work with your father. He was a good man. It was a shame he had to die at such a young age.” After that he has my attention. “ What do you want?” I had seen enough television shows and movies to know that the Army doesn’t usually come to your house unless they want something important and even then only if they wanted it badly.


dont mind the title of this as its just a filler for now. reply back to this if u like the sample or have any suggestions or comments on it. thank you

also its funnier as i like to imagine this is zat knights attempt at a story (premiership footballer)

well u will find out what the army dude wants with the charachter. i have been working on it more and i am now on page 2 thank u very much. it will definatly be a lot longer than that and will have a sequel... hopefully.
