Every Rule In The Book Broken.

Thanks for all of your comments but this is the newbies room we are talking about...When people google chat sites woc is first up and people who have never been on a chat site before click into this site.Its good to be able to welcome them and make them feel comfortable enough to join in the chat and want to return..Last night they were greeted with a screen full of abuse and trying to explain the mute button was not easy..They didnt stay long enough to chat let alone explain that what they were seeing was unusual and this was a really decent sight..So while regs know what the mute button is , it is actually not a help when new people come into the newbies as all they see is a screen full of rubbish.. bad language and vlugar chat .Hope that helps you all know what im talking about..its easy for me to mute idiots but what about the future chatters who are going away thinking this is not a good site? Please give us hosts back we need them to help us make this a chat site to be envied..

When I started to look for a chat room I was horrified at all the abuse in the rooms.I was new to chat and wanted friends not an abusive pick up for a cheap dirty chat in pm.I never use pm and I looked for clean friendly rooms.If it had of been this week I was looking for chat room I would have never considered Wocchat.I think it is very unfare that the regulars have to suffer this abuse.And ,yes ,I know where the mute button is.But why should we use it.This suppose to be friendly chat where we welcome new ppl and make new friends.You are not punishing the abusive ppl .They welcome another room to spread there abuse and fowl launguage.That is how they get off.And it makes it even better if nice ppl are in the room.You are punishing us for other ppls abuse.It ia unfair.I will probably be banned from Wocchat after this.But I don't find this sight fun any more.I will just miss a whole lot of good ppl and friends.

Hi There

Everything is done to make sure these people are removed from this site, we do not feel its neccessary to have a night host, if this becomes a problem we will just lock the site over night.

Also there are other rooms to make use of, if your a regular chatter, theres no reason for you to sit in newbies, where most of the new people who dont read the rules congrigate.

Compared to other sites, this site has very few problems, and people have started to rely on a host being around, people need to learn how to use the tools provided by the chat room and use your own initiative more !

don't forget about the lounge too giz... that still exists for regs who wanna hang out without putting up with the small minority of idiot guests that you get in the newbies room

I haven't got a web cam so that room is out of the question for me. and the regs room is empty, cos the regs are in the cam room. I've found lately that I have no choice but to chat with the newbies. It's either that, or stop coming in. And I ain't stopping coming in lol. So I'm making do and making the best of it. Mute mute mute lol. We don't have to chat to idiots. My theory now is, to try and find the decent newbies and try and get them to be regs, so I have have some friends out of it. Cos most of the regs have ditched me for the cam room lol. ime the same natz, ive not got a cam but still enjoy meeting new peeps, in newbies and talking to the regs, but i agree that some new peeps are great its such a shame when the odd idiot pops in never mind hun the worlds full of um lol
