i aint surprised this has happened tbh. People will never learn. U get ppl in here swopping details and swearing eternal love and friendships after only talking to ppl for 5 mins. Get a grip u guys !!

That nice person u are talking to could be a murderer, rapist, thief or paedo. They could say they are any age or any gender, post a pic of anyone on their profile and ppl would still swop numbers and details with them .

People can adjust themselves to any situation in a chat room and turn on the charm to worm their way into ur lives ...

Sorry guys for saying this but you have been complete idiots and I hope you and others learn from this. As Woc has already said this has happened before and it probably wont be the last time but theres no point moaning about it when you were the one giving ur details out .... but I suppose the only gd thing that has come out of it is the act that u have highlighted it and other ppl will now maybe think twice about doing it .... somehow i doubt it tho

I hope too shazz that no one will try doing what this individaul has done you can be prosecuted for it and as for swapping details please please take your time

here is a short definition of a stalker:

Not all stalkers physically stake out their victims, looking shifty and vaguely unhinged. Any form of persistent harassment can bring fear into your life, from phone calls to unwanted visits and letters. Often the stalker can be someone you know, such as an ex lover or co-worker. They may be focused on a particular aspect of your life, but unaware that their behaviour is a threat to you.

Even so, you have every right to protect yourself and seek help in order to feel safe from harm.

There are many complex reasons why someone becomes drawn to stalking. Every situation is unique, but whatever motives your personal-botherer may have, aim to keep all contact to a minimum. Any form of communication risks fuelling their conviction that their attention is justified. Even attempting to reason with them could make things worse, which is why the most effective thing you can do is notify the police and let them handle it. If at any time you think you're being followed, head for a public place immediately and call the police. You won't be wasting their time, even if it turns out to be a false alarm.
