Now that he has yet again failed to step up to the mark at a major tournament, does this make him Scottish? Murray's game is good but not quite enough (yet). He is only one year younger than Nadal. Nadal has already won the Australian, French and Wimbledon and Olympic Gold, winning the French within 4 years of turning pro. Murray has won ??? having turned pro in 2005. I think he has had a sufficient 'settling in' period to show that he is made of the right stuff. I would like to see Murray win something (though I don't particularly like his playing style), not because he is 'British' but because it will add another dimension to the men's game. He is quite a miserable so and so though, perhaps he needs to lighten up a bit!
