As it happens i did thank you very much, but it seems to me like you have a point to prove i think ur trying to hard to convince your self that your more intelligent then me.. lol eastlands you dont need to slam me to make that point am no brain box, im not so thick and i can hold my own in any class of conversation, it seems you carnt hence all the personal insults...theres more to making a point and saying your peace then lowering your self beyond any leeds fan ever could.
Leeds is the most hated football team for a reason eastlands.. it seems like my self they dont give a **** what you think.
Now, now, there's no need to throw your toys out of the pram is there lol? Personal insults? I don't think so. All I was doing was explaining to you that all your posts on the subject were full of lies and conjecture. If you're going to put a post up on a forum that is full of bull**** then you can't possibly expect to get away with no-one pulling you up on it. You say you can hold your own in any class of conversation but that clearly isn't the case - the only people who can do that are those that know what they're talking about on every issue. I wouldn't go wading into a discussion about quantum physics because I know fook-all about the subject. In other words, when discussing something, stick to the facts rather than throwing in lies to suit your own agenda. If you have an opinion then fine, but don't go passing it off as a fact. Oh, and Leeds isn't the most hated club - far from it. You're deluding yourself if you think that's the case. Perhaps 20 or 30 years ago Leeds were amongst the most hated clubs in the country because back in those days many Leeds' fans idea of a day out was to smash anything and everything up that got in their way. These days few of us give much of a **** about you to be honest
Your opinions on this are wrong on so many fronts that it's untrue and I'm about to explain why.
The only valid argument you have is that 100 million pounds for a footballer and half a million pounds a week in wages is of course obscene. No footballer on the planet is worth that amount of money, but then again no footballer on the planet is worth a tenth or perhaps even a hundredth of that. However, plenty of clubs have paid over the odds for players in the past and will continue to do so but what makes me laugh and what is so damn hypocritical is that here we have a supporter of none other than Leeds United pontificating about Manchester City raising the bar and spending too much money on footballers. This is the same Leeds United that in the past decade under the chairmanship of Peter Ridsdale and the management of David O'Leary was outspending every other club in England in an attempt to become the best team in the country. Not only that, it was money that Leeds simply didn't have whereas all City's money is coming out of the pocket of the owner - Leeds were taking out all sorts of short-term loans at extortionate interest rates to fund their purchases and eventually ended up almost going into liquidation when the whole thing came on top. You moan and whinge about 100 million for Kaka, but how do you justify spending 9 million on Seth Johnson and paying him 50 grand a week in wages? At least Kaka is one of the best players on the planet - Seth Johnson probably wasn't even the best player at Derby County when you bought him off them. If you compare the two players, what we have is Kaka costing about 10 times Seth Johnson in terms of transfer fees and wages but believe you me he is miles more than 10 times the player that Seth Johnson was. Moving onto Kaka's supposed wages and your assumption that it's out of sync with whatever else is going on in the country with regards to the recession. Well I've said already that the figures are obscene but when you consider that his wages (should he make the move over here) will result in an extra 10 million a year in tax coming into the country, that can only be good for the economy. Lewis Hamilton, on the other hand, earns about 5 times more a year than Kaka stands to make so where is the criticism of him? Not only that, Hamilton pays fook-all in tax to this country despite being English. Why? Because he's a tax-dodging mercenary who emigrated to the tax haven that is Switzerland about 18 months ago and then came up with the pathetic excuse that it was to escape the attention of the media. Yeah right. You go on to say that Kaka won't spend much of his money over here - how the hell do you know? He'll be living here for at least 9 months a year when the football season is on - which is 9 months a year more than Lewis Hamilton by the way - so I'd hazard a guess that he'll be spending a fair bit of cash while he's here, which in turn can only be good for the economy of the country. As for him only learning the basics of the English language while he's here - Kaka is already fluent in English so you're wrong again. In fact, I'll say that he probably speaks our language better than you, and can probably spell our language better than you as well. Finally, and this more proof of your total ignorance of the man, Kaka is one of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet. He's a born-again Christian and donates a sizeable chunk of his wages to the church. What they then do with that money I don't know but I'd hazard a guess that at least some of it filters down to the less well off. If you're looking for someone to blame for the recession we find ouselves in then you shouldn't be blaming Manchester City FC, the owners of our club, or Kaka. Blame the people who are directly responsible - the governments of numerous countries around the world that have allowed the banks to continue their irresponsible lending practices which has led to billions and billions of pounds of taxpayers money being used to bail the banks out of the rather large hole they've dug for themselves. And despite all this, we still have a situation where certain banks are paying millions upon millions of pounds in bonuses to directors who have failed their customers so much. In short your rant is full of lies, inaccuracies, bitterness, hypocrisy and jealousy. If it was Leeds United that had come into this kind of money, there's no way you would be moaning about this. The thing is, your club had its chance and they made a complete pig's ear of it and you can't face the fact that someone else is now doing it. Tough. Oh, and as for ticket prices, ours are cheaper than yours despite the fact we're 2 divisions higher and there's a rumour that all our existing season ticket holders will be given free admission for the whole of next season - I can't see it, but our owners are rich enough to do it if they want. Oh, and I note that you've posted this thread in the wrong section - but now you've put it in the TV, films, and music forum I look forward to you slagging Paul McCartney off for earning upwards of 40 million a year, or Daniel Craig for getting paid 20 million-plus for the latest Bond movie.
i think east needs a **** anyone? ffs this poor mans boiling over a blowie? pretend its brad pitt for god sake ok ok a **** if he explodes again i dont think his keyboard will survive oh p.s. the most hated club aint leeds its man u followed by chelsea |
