Lightbulb Music at your funeral !

my grans gonna die within in the week which got me thinking about what song id like played at my funeral.

my mate who died a few years ago had michael jackson - thriller.

ive never really been able to settle on a song...but at the moment id go with
D12-Revelation

not a very happy song but itd make me happy to know it was played at my funeral.

I'm sorry to hear about your Gran, hope she's at peace soon.
Two weeks ago sadly it was my wife's funeral. I played Ronan Keating's "You say it best when you say nothing at all" I pick that because I used to sing it to her, but everyone thought it was beautiful and appropriate.

Whitney Huston's "I will always love you" is also a popular choice.

"I was born under a wandering star" with anyone who turns up to the funeral doing horse 'clip clop' noises in the background. My favourite lines in the song being:

Do I know where hell is, hell is in hello
Heaven is goodbye forever, its time for me to go

and

When I get to heaven, tie me to a tree
For I'll begin to roam and soon you'll know where I will be

Thanks, I don't know any Deacon Blue or James Blunt songs, although I've seen him on Top Gear.
I like classical/opera but my voice isn't quite good enough to sing opera, which my neighbours are no doubt grateful for.
