Am so out of touch,Advice needed

Ok i have a 14 year old daughter, who's not quite into anything major but she shows interest in music, what cd's would you recommend?

get her a bit of everything?
does she play an instrument?
if so choose music where that instrument is prevalent

cheers tommy for your reply, but no she don't play, have got her an ipod nano, and she likes taking photos so i have also got her a camera, and summert that will blow her mind off cause its ace, but it was the stocking fillers, i was thinking cd's ive seen the adverts for now 70 i think it is. that will do lol
