your local MP and local major industry
ive recently moved but i still live in a rural area.
my MP used to be james paice.
At the time of the last General Election in 2010 the total electorate was 83,063. The result was the election for his sixth term of Jim Paice, the Conservative Candidate with a majority of 5,946.
he didn't turn up to the debates in parliament i particularly cared about.
but he obviously turned up for the debates that his regular voters care about, maybe not counting the idiots who just vote conservative for no other reason than thats what they've always done.
anyway ive seen him for the 1st time ever on bbc parliament and the subject was Bovine tuberculosis.
basically what im saying is: he really only represents farmers.
south east cambridgeshire is predominantly all about agricultural stuff.
so because of the area i lived in, i would never really of stood a chance of getting an MP with different views in power.
whoever panders to the farmers wins south east cambridgeshire.
which leads me to this question:
who's your local MP and what type of area would you say you live in?
what type of industry has the most wealth in your area?
