Private Messages OFF

Hi guys

The private messages are disabled for now !

Until we can get rid of the people who seem to think World of Chat is some kind of unofficial knocking shop, which it isnt !

It also isnt an M S N Messenger Exchange service, as thats all the private messages consist of anyway, theres very little point in having a chat room at all is there if thats all thats going to happen.

This is a CHAT ROOM, there is no problem with people exchanging details over World of Chat, but if all your going to do is look for contacts for M S N goto a Dating site !

If you have a problem with the rooms and how they are run, then I suggest you discuss it with admin or a host in a reasonable manner, rather than calling us all the names under the sun and demanding the private messages come back on.

personally i think it is a good thing its off, i sometimes thought it was more trouble than it was worth with ppl using it without asking and sometimes just to abuse others. it can come in handy sometimes though. its a pity if u reinstate it if u couldnt arrange someway of doing it without a pop up window so the pmer is forced to let the reciever know before any action takes place. just a thought lol.

I agree that pm's are much better being disabled, if u got anything private that needs saying then it takes about 5 mins to download the Woc Messenger thats available. I know people who have left cuz of all the pms they were getting so hopefully this will keep the pervs out and the people who use the site for wot it is mean't to be used for will stay and have a better time for it.

ok thats fair enough but there is a few people on here who prefer to talk on pm,s then main room not everybody same

ppl only use pms to either swap details or beg for phone numbers some use em to perv or abuse ppl,
more chat happens in the room wen pms are off instead of just hi and bye , makes my life loads easier with em off lol xx

here here jazzy , its the ones that abuse it and dont ask gets my shackles up. Ifind my self saying use manners in me sleep lol. Hubby thought i was talking to him when i said it lol.And for those that slag of admin and the site, they really get me gander going
how dare they , admin work hard and ask nothing in return , except for peeps to abide to the rules.But its them that once get booted or banned do there best to come bk , after slagging it off grrrrr, how dare they.

well put nygyl, woc messenger is ten times better than pming. if your arse is out coz pm's r off, download the messenger n then u chat to people like you are on ms n. you will find the people that are not kicking off about it are the regular chatters that come into these rooms for what the rooms are about. having a good chat n meeting new friends.

and for slagging the team off that provide this service for ya, its simple....read the rules..follow em.. then you wont have any trouble from either hosts or admin and it will make your stay a much more enjoyable and longer one!!

Im glad pm's off,most guys just want your addy are *** talk ,you enter a room first thing you see's a pm some guys asking do you like *** i get pm from girls too ffs asking if i'm bi . i come here to have a laugh & meet new ppl not to not to talk *** .... i say keep pm off .

If PM is such an issue for most people why haven't you just turned it off your self? [COLOR="Red"]top right hand corner ''options'' and un-tick the private message thing[/COLOR].... why wait for an admit to completely turn it off ... i just find it funny when people moan/complain about certain things like PM and fail to help them self!


Edit: And if you did not know PM can be turned off by the basic user now you do, when and if Admin should switch PM back on you can turn them off yourself if it becomes a nuisance.

cos some ppl might wanna talk to their mates on it about summat private lol !! however then the random arseholes come in and take advantage and try and get addys and then wanna talk bollox usually involving ***** the sad little puppies !!!
