Admin! Serious concerns within the chat rooms
To Mr Woc/Admin Team
Hello after recent events in the chatrooms i wanna voice some concerns ive got the way some members on here speak to the female members on this place is absoluetly apaulling! not only dose it happen in Pm it happens in main chat too. One female member was recently threatened that she was gonna get gang rap'ed by a memebr AKA as Ice a known evil sick little pervert, who had a history of harassing female members and making all kinds of threat's and s'exual remarks to them, not only that a Host was being subjected to a torrent of abuse from the same person too. All due credit to the admin, they were informed and he was delt with, but im afraid he should have been delt with a lot quicker, as its being going on with that indevidual for months! Personally i feel admin have very little to do with what's actully going on daily/nightly in the rooms, and have even less interaction with the hosts,i spend enough time in the rooms, and im quite wel known by a lot members n hosts alike who i get on with the vast majority of folk. Im aware theres an ignore buton which tbh is usless, as it dosent resolve the issue long term. The ignore button is only useful for folk who don't agree and cant be in the same room as each other without arguing, or to stop problem Pm'ers. Yeah i now grow a thicker skin, water off a ducks back, ect, ect, but that's not the point either, what good is the ignore button when the insults, abuse, threat's, etc have been made? and these sick indeviduals keep coming back day after day and continuing their sick little games, of harassment, abuse, and threats. the damage is done, the upsets been caused, and this is where thing's have to be addresed and something done. For all the admin team, how would you feel if somone threatened your wife or daughter sister or mother, with gang rap'ed, or murder, or threatened to killed your family pets etc, just seriously think about that for a min... most people would take that badly, feel very angry and upset! Tbh these problem people are making the whole place very unplesent for everybody. it's not fair to see decent members getting drawin into arguments cos they cant bare to see their friends reciving al sorts of abuse n threats, and just sit there and take it. there's all the other stuff which am sure/hope that members will come forward n tell you themselves if it means it's gonna get some much neded change and makes theit time here more plesent. here's a few things the admin of Woc can get together and speak about, and hopefully address, and act upon. CAMS 1. Putting cams back to invite only in "Web Cam Room" and give members their right to having the choice wich members can view their cams or not. i did manage to catch Mr Woc in cam room a few months ago raised this concern to him personally, he said he was aware of this and that changing the setting for that room could have undesireable effects in the other rooms, which i do understand , but ive yet to hear anything back. without cam being viewd in web cam only members are again open to folk just cliking their cams seeing what they look like and giving them abuse/ making ***ual suggestions etc. the only alternitive is for folk not to use cams, if they feel that way, and what good is a cam room that members don't feel safe using? HOSTS 2. More host's are needed on here the curernt hosts are great, they do a great job, volenteer their time, but they have lives offline and cant be here 24/7. Mainly at night and through the small hours there's two hosts, Sandy who can only host two rooms and is powerless to do anything in the other 6 rooms, and Dj Lee who also put a lot of time in when he can,and can boot from a few other rooms but not them all, they both put a lot of time in here, but are lacking support from Admin. Hosts need muting and booting abilitys in all rooms! there's absolutley no point in a host being able to boot a problem/disruptive member form one room just for that person to be able to go and be disruptive/coninue their carry on in another room, from where they can abuse a host. Hosts volenteer a lot of time n take a lot of stick at times, so i think they sholud be treated and sopke to with the respect they deserve. they need a bit more support from admin and more interaction, cos they are just left to get on with it. a weekly meeting in one of the unsued admin rooms for hosts to discuss whats been going on in the chatrooms any problems or concerns etc and have an admin present too if and when ever possable. Im sure the admin of the site care for their hosts & members alike and will be seen to do all they can to help improve Woc for its members and not only that make it a safer place where folk don't have to be subjected to dailly torrents of threat's and abuse, can can have a laugh and a chat with the good poeple on here. Im afraid Woc chat is open and is being abused by a small minority of sick indeviduals, and somthing has got to be done to deal/remove them and make Woc a more plesenet place for the decent Reg's. Well i hope to see some feed back from Admin and Members with concerns of anything adressed or anything i may have missed. ohhh so sandys the only on one at night eh cuptart??? lol. i didnt realise i was so easy to forget about lol grrrrrrrr

[/QUOTE]Ahhh Sorry Lee my bad man. Yes your on at nights too man but you work some bad hours man, and do back her up when you are here. But at times shes on her own, somtimes your on your own! which can't be helped, hosts do have lives offline too. like ive said above in my Op you's can only host in a few rooms which isen't very effective, when hosts should have Ho'sting abillity's in all rooms hosts cant be expected to sit there 24/7.

OMG no cup if all the host have power in all the rooms I would be kicked out ... not all of them understand my humor lol I can the the few who does .... as you know power needs to be nurtured too much of it can lead to madness...... PMSL here .

Hey Baby Blue there's plenty more folk feel the same, it's a shame they aint as vocal bout it in here, as they are in the rooms lol Another thing for the Admin too though ive worked with flash chat before n knew a wee bit bout the settings, im sure that if you boot somone the time can be as much as 24 hours before they get back in, if needed i can go find out for sure. I think that would be a good idea to up the booting time too, as at the mo 10 or 15 mins aint much a deterent to the persistent ones, and worst abusers, it's would make hosts lives easyer too, booting somone once instead of haveing to repeatedly mute and boot. uping the booting time somthing else to take into serious concideration thank's for replying Baby Knightofcups
