Free Popular Chat rooms

Hi there
There does seem to be a lack of good free chat rooms on the net now, even the big hitting interent companies seem to have not changed their chat rooms for years.
Maybe the chat room era has ended and we are finally moving towards a web cam culture, as these kind of chat areas seem to have become more popular.
Personally i do not like web cam areas at all they seem to attract the wrong kind of people !!!

Hi I am a very new user to the world wide web. I have heard of this thing they call the CHATROOM so I decided to browse to select some good but outrageous chat. I was highly disappointed though, because all that seem to pop up is a lot of fart and seemingly sexual persuasions. As I type this I am still trying for one week now to chat with someone.
