Flash Chat Rooms

Flash chat rooms have been around for quite as while now, there are many good features about flash chat rooms and very few drawbacks.
Flash chat rooms tend to be colorful and easy to use for the most park, although if you are used to the old style java chat rooms they might well take some time to get the hang of, just simply because they are different.
The main plus points of flash chat rooms is their compatibility, usually you don’t need to download lots of software to get the chat room to work, you will need to have flash player, but most people have this installed onto their pc anyway nowadays as it’s a common browser plug in and if you don’t have it installed its very easy to download. Its also a very stable program that causes very little problems.
Flash chat rooms work well within other browsers also, for example Firefox or Mozilla have no problems displaying flash chat rooms,
The only downpoints to flash chat rooms is the size of the flash window, sometimes the window can be small and elements of flash cannot pass over a normal browser page, the flash elements have to stay within the flash window. Also somtimes depending on what kind of internet connection you have, flash chat rooms can be slow to download, but this isnt a major issue.
This can cause slight problems if you have several different chat windows open at the same time, but isn’t really a major issue, some chat rooms have even managed to resolve this issue, by giving a java enabled private window option as part of their chat, just like world of chat has.
