As chat rooms have evolved and with the advent of new technology, there are now chat rooms that let you talk over cam.
What Is a Cam Chat Room
So some of you might be wondering what a cam chat room is, well a cam chat room isn’t dissimilar to any normal chat room, except it has a cam chat plug in.
When you are in a chat room the names of the people chatting in the room is displayed down the right hand side, with a space for chat on the main chat page, in a cam chat room this is much the same, except for a few little differences, normally at the side of someone’s name there is a little icon, this usually signifies if the person has a cam, when you click on this icon, it usually gives you access to their cam, then you should be able to see the image that is taken via their cam.
Cam chat rooms were expected to take the chat room community by storm, unfortunately this hasn’t happened for quite a few reasons, mainly because of abuse, and unfortunately most of the cams sites seem to attract the wrong kind of people, who just want to show their bits on cam.
I believe cam chat rooms will always be around, unfortunately with peoples fears on the internet I don’t believe many people are comfortable using them
