Hi guys

As some of you may have noticed there have been quite a few changes at World of Chat, we have lots of new pages now, with lots of information about chat rooms, if you have spotted somthing I have missed them please let me know.

As for wocchat our chat community, thats getting more people registering for it which is good, I am now thinking of putting a basic forum on there, for people who visit wocchat to share their profiles and messages easier.

It will only be a small forum mind, as we have a very good forum on World of Chat.

Hi guys

Im sure many or you are aware that World of Chat has its own forums or message boards and has done for a while, if you are a member of World of Chat and you have not visited our forums, please do so and introduce yourself, as this is a good place to chat and meet people especially when the chat room is quiet.

Some of the regular chatters are now familiar with forums and getting to know their way around, so one way you could help World of Chat, is to register for a couple of other forums, and put the World of Chat link into your signiture on these forums.

Please dont spam other forums though, you only have to post every now and again, if World of Chat url is in your signiture, people will see this and visit World of Chat hopefully !

Hi guys

It would be interesting to know what search engines people use to find chat rooms, the most popular is Google of course, or big G as it’s known in the business, unfortunately this is also the most competitive search engine.

Does everyone use Google ? world of chat is very highly rated on msn search engines does anyone ever use this ? or maybe even yahoo ?

I find that Google doesn’t really give many options to people who want to visit chat rooms as most of the sites seem to be dating sites, hopefully in the future this will change.

Hi guys

Lots of people seem to be asking me if they can be a host or a moderator on the chat rooms lately, this is just a post to let people know, we will not be taking on anymore hosts for the time being.

The chat room is empty for long periods so doesn’t warrant having a host, this will change as the chat room gets busier.

When we do need hosts, you will be asked to by Admin these kind of positions only go to people who have been coming into World of Chat for a while.

We choose the people based on a number of factors, for example talking to new people, posting on the forums, contributing to the site, or helping to get people into the chat room.

If you don’t do any of the things listed above, it’s very unlikely you will be asked to be a host.

So don’t expect to walk in the room and say can I be a host, as it simply wont happen.
