Video Chat Rooms
Hi guys
As some of you have noticed we have added video chat rooms to our website, it was never something we planned to do, but the opportunity arose after our recent upgrade to a new server, which is a lot faster than anything we have ever had before.
The cam chat rooms have been running for about a week now, we felt that adding them would add a little extra to the site, this has proved to be true, as the cam chat has added a different dimension to the site, and has been great fun for the people taking part.
I accept that some people are probably not happy about the addition of cams on the chat rooms, but there are free rooms without cams on them, we certainly wont be having lots of rooms with the cam facility enabled.
Ideally one maybe two chat rooms at a push, they are curently being used in the lounge.
We felt we needed to add the cams to our chat room, as other web sites have this facility as standard now, so we really had to add them to compete with these sites, and we were not 100% comfortable with the idea at the time, but it does seem to have worked out for the time being.

Having just signed up for this site I was impressed how we can use the webcams, and think its a great idea because at least you can see who you are talking to and there is less chance of them being fake.
Its better to be able to see who you are talking to rather than someone who could be posing as something else.
