They say that the hours a person sleeps before midnight are so important that they count double.

You know, all my neighbours get up some time between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM and they are out like a light before 9:00 PM.
I feel you’re missing out on a lot of stargazing if you go to bed that early although on a really cold winter night maybe bed is the best place to be.
The only time I go to bed before midnight is when I’m sick or when I have to travel the next day…. and then of course I can’t sleep.

How many night owls do we have in the forum here?

Every once in a while you’ll see a story in the news about how a smart watch saved someone’s life.
As with everything else, I think you get what you pay for so the more expensive ones are more sophisticated and they have a lot more options and features.
My biggest problem with a smart watch is bad eyesight. I use reading glasses but when I’m outside I don’t need them and that means I can’t look at my watch or even at my phone.
Here’s to hoping that people don’t mess up their eyes using phones and smart watches.

This is some seriously good music. I was about to sign off when I found this and now I’m past my bedtime. It’s awesome how the momentum builds up slowly. The images to go with this are not just super fitting, they are beautiful as well.
The image starting around 5:30 is downright awesome (space guy walking in the water). Beautiful! The image starting around the 14:25 mark is a bit creepy to watch just before going to bed, haha. 🙂
It seems to get better and better as the video goes on. I’ve not watched the entire video yet, but I will, for sure.

Exactly! Are these your first cats or have you had cats previously?

Here’s something funny. When I leave the house for more than an hour, my cat gets mad at me. Rest assured that when I come back home, she will jump on my desk and sit with her back to me, totally ignoring me. She does that every single time. I will then sweet talk her, trying not to laugh while I’m at it, but she won’t have it. She will continue to ignore me until she feels she has punished me sufficiently for daring to leave her by herself in the house.
Oh, and she loves cardboard boxes, the smaller the better.

Yeah it is. I am dreading the day she will give up. At this point I let her do anything and everything she wants. I have a friend who is a vet and she said let he eat whatever, no need to pay attention to what she eats now, just let her choose.
She had a sister too but her sister died in 2017 of feline leukemia. I had no idea that cats could get vaccinated for that. Needless to say, this one is vaccinated for it now.
Enjoy your two masters, cats are a lot of fun.
At three years of age, they still have many years ahead of them 🙂

I hope your cat didn’t put a scare into you 🙂 Is your cat a boy or a girl? How old?

Cats are interesting creatures. We are their servants, whether we like to admit to it or not.
My cat is currently napping in the very spot where my keyboard should be. Thank goodness for wireless keyboards. Now the keyboard is on my lap and the cat is on my desk. Something seems wrong with this picture.

She’s 20 years old and still going strong other than getting skinnier. She catches, eats, and kills on average two mice a day. Even cats half her age would be jealous of that.
